1-Open a mMap file you already worked on
2-Go to file/new/radial teamplate
3-This created another tab to the working window on the bottom left of your working window
4-Click and Drag this new mmap file to your other monitor (I use 2 monitors)
5-Go back to your main monitor and close the file you have been working on previously
6- Create new file again
Crash - Mindmanager closes

The first thing I would do is to contact Mindjet Support. Easy via the Mindjet.com website.

Note: I tried to reproduce your issue, following the steps you describe, but was not able to get the crash you mention.
