Your map should be saved automatically from time to time, there's no need to press a Save button.

Creating folders is possible, depending on where you're trying to save the file. In the screenshot below for example, I have three places to save my maps: my Mindjet Reader account, my team Mindjet Business account ('WoM') and locally on my device ('Device'). The only places that support the creation of folders are the Mindjet Business account and on my device.

Could it be that you're trying to create a folder in a Mindjet Reader account?

thank you Mathieu for your reply

For the first topic :

YES..."map is saved automatically from time to time, there's no need to press a Save button" !!!

BUT..this seem to work only with maps created regulary as new map

The problem is if it is imported from Xmind....(in my case, i open Xmind map directly from my gmail)..

it open perfectly, even if it contain images... but no automatic save...no save as ...

if i return to home page i found no trace about it..even if i make change on map

For second topic :

"Could it be that you're trying to create a folder in a Mindjet Reader account?"

in fact..YES...i need to synchronize maps between tablet and phone... this is impossible if i work in local device...

So...as a conclusion...the only solution to organize "synchronized" map in folder is to get "Mindjet Business account" ?

On the 1st topic: Files opened from other applications automatically end up on the 'Device' spot in the MindManager app. Also, you'll need to send the file back again from the MindManager app to your e-mail app (or any other app) in order to see the changes. Otherwise, the changes will only be available in the local copy of the map that the MindManager app has created from your imported X-Mind app.

On the 2nd topic: yes, your conclusion is right.

I hope this helps!
