A free PDF printer that works with MM?

Since Mindjet has dropped PDF printing in the product users need a PDF printer. Thera are several free PDF printer drivers available: PrimoPDF, CutePDF, BullZip. Does anyone have any experience from using them?

Or is it advisable to go for the paid versions?

Of course, Acrobat is always a solution, but it is one more program for the user to learn.

Thanks for the tips. I ́ve asked about support for MM15 and 32/64 bit.

Hi Bjorn,
Corrupted PDF: Most PDF files develop problems after they have been corrupted pdf either by an infected virus or unexpected failure during transfer and even sometimes you system failure while the file was still in use. If you take action quickly you can be able to stop any more damage in your PDF.

The Necsus facility suggested by Nigel works fine but I would also suggest having a look at the paid options which can give you more control over the output. You could also consider getting an image printer program - these offer a variety of print formats as well as PDFs and are really useful if you want to export the actual MM slide images for use in PowerPoint (a feature which MM should have but doesn't).

There are a few image printers on the market but I’ve settled on ImagePrinter Pro (http://code-industry.net/imageprinter...) which costs around AU$40. It outputs a range of image file types including JEPG, PNG, GIF, TOFF and BMP as well as PDFs (there is a free trial version which isn’t limited operationally but which puts a watermark on each slide). The paid version works well both as a JPG generator and PDF printer.

CutePDF has never failed me here! For a low cost solution, I also like PDF X-Change, which has an add-in that works with most office products so you don't even have to go to the print menu to create a PDF. Unfortunately, my version (2012) does not install the add-in to MM, but the printer driver works just fine.
