You will not be able to make edits once the map is in a PDF format. If you export to Microsoft word, you will be able to choose the format that the map is exported in as well as make edits. Keep in mind that Word will export as more of an outline than as a map. I hope that this helps.

Thank you for the quick response :)

I was really hoping for some way in the org chart format that there would be a way to export and have someone able to edit.

You could try export to Word. The doc can be edited and imported back to a new MindManager map. As long as styles are maintained it should work

Andrew's right - as long as you use the default heading styles in Word to format the heirarchy of headings in the document, these will be picked up as main topics, subtopics, subsubtopics etc when you import the document back into MindManager.

In doing so MM will create a new map and use its default topic styles. Therefore, any "one-off" formatting you may have applied in the original map before exporting it to Word will not be replicated when you import the resulting document back into MM.

Also, while MM can export more complex aspects of a mindmap such as task information, custom properties etc to Word and you can in theory import these back into MM, actually doing so is very problematic.
