Ability to view all tasks by Resource (seeing a list)

I have started a business plan and have allocated resources to an activity. I now want to view all of the activities according to resources so I can work out job roles and recruitment. I can't seem to find how to click on 'resource' and then have all the activities scattered across the mind map to be listed on 1 place. The activities do not have time lines / task dates added because I am just trying to see a list of everything a resource needs to do. Thanks for your help in advance!

Does not seem possible to Filter by Resource. Why not Mindjet?

But you can use the Index Tab on the right hand side to see Resources and the Topics they appear in

Thanks Andrew, it is lovely to get a reply from an experienced user, at least I am not going mad. Looks like it should be simple, if you can allocate a resource, there must be a way to get a view of all the things you have allocated that resource that is not in a task defined list

Thank you for your feedback Mo. I will change your question to an idea so that our team can take this into consideration for future releases.

Dear Brittney, has this issue been changed within the last years? Would be a great function to have...

There are over 30 projects at a time, and I would like to be able to see the deadlines assigned to me for the next week, for instance (including all projects, naturally).

Best,

Felipe

The Resources tab on the right does not help. A resource needs a topic with a date to be found.

Another reason why I loved JCVGantt.

But you could export to MS Project. I pretty sure you will be able to see a list of resources and topics in there.

Still wondering why you can't filter by resource, it seems rather an oversight with 10 years plus of task info on topics.

That's because we have overlooked the Find tool: Ctrl-F which should bring up the Find and Replace pane with Resources as an option.

Either: Click Find All followed by (Filter) Show > Selected Topic(s) if you want to hide everything else.

Or: Switch to Outline view

Or: Export to Excel. You could sort by resource in there. (assumes you are using MindManager 2012
