When working on some complex or large maps would be very useful to interconnect floating maps and have the option to relate them either using link lines or regular branches. I don't know how feasible is this to do but sometimes I felt limited on the way to develop large maps and the link lines doesn't feel the best alternative to connect topics.

See an example of what I mean:

You can add relationship lines between floating topics and other topics in the map. The lines can be visually adjusted (e.g. colors, solid vs. dashes, width, etc...).

You can also add hyperlinks to other topics as another way to link from one section of a map to another. It isn't visual but it is effective for navigating around your large / complex map.
