Would be nice to have the option to add text over link lines to give extra information about the relation of 2 topics.

In the windows version: Click with right mousebutton on the line and do it.

NOTE: You can find these options in Help or attend a MindManager workshop at one of the excellent training institutes. This will save you 3-5 days selfstudy.

As Ary suggests, it's easy to attach a callout to relationship lines that you add manually between topics, but it isn't possible to add text along the default lines between the central topic and main topics.

However there is a workaround. First, add a relationship line betweeen these topics, positioning the line so it runs as close as possible to the topic line. Then add the callout as Ary suggests.

Now click on the relationship line and make it white (assuming you have a white map background) and it will effectively disappear, making the callout look as if it belongs to the topic line.

Incidentally this is a good way to create a "floating" topic which can maintain a position close to existing topics and which is easier to manipulate than the genuine article.
