I'm trying to use Mindjet tasks for the first time. I need the status report to include the "assigned to" resources and the latest comments on the tasks. How do I do this?

Can you please give me a step by step account of how you are currently using the application and what you are seeing? If you click on a task, do you see the information that you are looking for? Thank you!

Thanks Brittany for responding...

I've set up a small Mindjet Task project for a project I am doing with a client. My client is brand new to Mindjet and also brand new to this kind of project management.

1) I've set up some tasks and assigned them to various team members. NOTE: Because my team members are new to this kind of thing, they are NOT going to upload a picture of themselves or create an avatar.

2) I noticed that the application does not display the Name of the "Assigned To" team member in the application or in reports. As a result, I have to include the name of the team member in the task description. This is going to be a very kludgy solution for me as task ownership changes over time. I realize that one can "mouse over" the picture to see the name, but this doesn't work across all devices and not in the "status report" that I can email to the team. This may seem like a minor thing, but, it leads to a great deal of confusion with my client and will certainly contribute to whether I use this app on future projects. See attached image and please let me know if there is some setting I can set to display the name. Also, please let me know if you need any additional information.

Mindjet Tasks is great in creating a personal task list. So the user (whether he/she add a picture of him/herself) always has an overview of all the tasks he/she need to perform. These tasks are sorted (priority/blocking/etc), so you have to do the task that is on top first.

If you want to see the whole picture, you can open the project pane. And yes, it is using the picture of the user, but I personally I think this is a big plus of Mindjet Tasks. It makes it more personal (or shoud I say Social).

Main thing is, why do you not want to use a picture (it can also be a client logo)??
It's the easiest way to solve your 'problem'.
