Adding task @ bottom of a Project's task list fails about 25% of the time

In the MJ web application, Tasks, about 25% of the time when I want to add a task to a Project using the text box for adding a task at the bottom of the Project's task list, when I finish, click the plus (+) symbol to the right of that textbox, the whole page goes dark gray, then the Tasks screen reappears, but the project list I was working on closes. When I re-open the Project list, the task I added is gone. This happens on the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Chrome, running on Windows 7 Pro. Clearly, this is a bug.

Sorry to hear this Mark,

I have seen this a couple times but definitely not 25%. Does it happen as often with long lists as short lists? Does it happen with the plus button as well as with the enter key?

Thanks for your help. Having good reproduction steps helps our engineers to quickly get to the root cause of these types of bugs.

Happens at least 25% of the time:

Add the task at the bottom of a particular project (Task List), for example "Commercial Customers",
Click "plus" (+) icon to the right,
All open panes disappear to the gray MJ desktop
"Recent" pane appears as the left-most pane (even though I did not have it open).
The particular Task List pane I wanted to add the task to (in the example here Commercial Customers") does not reopen.
Other open panes that were opened before the disappearing task pane re-open.
When I re-open the Task Pane (in this example "Commercial Customers", the task I created does not exist.

Did you try clearing the browser cache? This does solve these kind of issues with Mindjet's web client for me.
