Hi
In analysis view, i was experimenting and looking for a way to remove a topic from a view. my instinct was to try to right click and see if a menu with "remove" popped up, but Mindmanager crashed !
I restarted and tried again and the same thing happened.
oh, the map is stored in connect, don't know if that is relevant.
I've been having a few crash issues, and have reinstalled MM2012, so was wondering if this was a bug in MM or a problem with my install. It's not really an issue for me, i just won't right click!

Hello John

What did you right-click on? The topic in the grid, or the topic in the unsorted topic list?

Please could you also confirm your exact version of MindManager?

Hello John

I could not reproduce this myself, and I am pretty sure there is no context (right-click) menu for topics designed into the Analytic View tool, so at least you are not missing out on any functionality by avoiding a right-click. To remove a topic from the 2x2 grid, click on it to select it and then press the Delete key. This will return it to the "Unsorted topics" list.

If the crash persists after running a repair on the installation, I would recommend opening a ticket with Mindjet and sending an example map where this occurs, so that it can be reproduced and analysed. However from what you say about other instabilities, I suspect that the crash is a symptom of some other platform-specific situation rather than limited to the Analytic Views function.

Nick Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I had given up on the anlysis tool as no one could tell me how to delete a topic from the view. And, once mindjet changed their website, there is not way to find some of the tutorial.

But... selecting the topic and usind the delete key, simple as it is, was not proposed a year ago and I just gave up. But decided to do another search...

Still hoping for Results Manager in my future.
