Hello, all. As you have likely already discovered here in this forum, the all-new MindManager 11 for Mac launched today and is now available!

This release has been a long time coming. We greatly appreciate your patience in waiting for it, and we think you'll be as excited as we are about the latest updates, which include:
  • Enhanced visualizations, including new background objects, and more than two dozen new and improved map templates and diagrams
  • Advanced mapping and task management tools including task and map roll up, the ability to open multiple tabs in a single application, and much more
  • Improved presentation and sharing capabilities that make it easy to share maps with non-MindManager users, and even publish them to the web
  • A redesigned interface featuring optimized menus for faster, more fluid map building and navigation

To celebrate this release, we've extended upgrade eligibility to ALL previous Mac versions - even retired ones.

You can see more about what's new in MindManager 11 for Mac here. Or upgrade right now, and try out the latest and greatest features for yourself.

As always, we welcome and value your feedback.

Great news that there is (finally) an upgrade for the Mac. Does 'we've extended upgrade eligibility to ALL previous Mac versions - even retired ones' means it's for free? Because when I try to download vs 11 I have to pay € 107,69.

Updates within the same version numbers are free,

Upgrades from any older version nr (Like MM for MAc vs 8,9 or 10) have an upgrade price. Dependant on the country, taxes  and currency these vary a bit. But in € Europe the upgrade price is net € 89,00 plus VAT.

The email states that all versions are eligible for a free upgrade.  Did that change?  I pay for maintenance and still have to pay for upgrades?

@Harold,

If you are on maintenance (MSA/MUPP) you will get your new license key without cost in a separate email from Mindjet.

By the way... the email should state that even users of older / retired versions are entitled to upgrade. Not Free.
