The project report capability shown in this competitor is something we could really use in MindManager

Any way to accomplish this now or any plan for this on the roadmap?

Interesting. This looks like a combination of a macro or code in Mindgenius to generate the tables and boilerplate text which are fed to a macro-based template in Word which assembles everything in the right order. There isn't anything like this in MM and I'm no programmer, but I don't imagine it would be too difficult to create in MM.

We should probably start a list of ideas which Mindjet could "borrow" from other Mindmapping programs, like this and more flexibility in applying boundaries, which was also suggested recently.

Alex thanks for your reply. I am a huge MindManager fan (since v 2.0) and advocate in our company - what the competitor is doing here would address a major "wish" as we try to build a "smart roadmap" for our projects using MM and forestall any proposal to move to a different mapping product. Crossing my fingers!

Like you I'm a big MM fan and user and purely from that perspective have been trying to influence the direction of the program's development for some time, with mixed results.

To be fair to Mindjet they have listened to a few ideas and I can appreciate that choices have to be made both regarding the overall direction of the program and the level of features it can incorporate, especially at a time when there has been a huge paradigm shift to online software and mobile apps.

By the same token many of these suggestions would appear to be capable of enhancing the useability of the program without adding too much overhead; in the case of your idea I imagine you could add this facility as an additional export option, along with being able to send formatted MM slides as images to PowerPoint (a request that many including me have made for years).
