Apostrophe's confusing spell checker in Notes

has anyone else noticed that the spell checker within the Notes interface gets confused by words with an apostrophe in them? It seems them as misspelled. To be honest, it is kind of annoying.

For example, these words are being considered misspelled currently: "doesn't", "can't" and so forth. I have never had to correct a spell checker on something so basic before.

What am I missing?

Mike,

Have you checked the dictionary being used under File->Options->Spelling

Using either English (UK) or English (US) I don't get this issue.

It is set for English (US). I don't see any other option that would obviously point to this behavior being configurable. Weird.

Also check out the autocorrect file in the Options. It has for instance has an entry for "eg" which corrects to "e.g." Annoying if your company if the short version of your company is "EG"

All those options are set to the program defaults because, until you mentioned it, I didn't know they even existed :)
