Auto-save in cloud environment

Hi,

I have a question regarding the cloud environment auto-save feature. If i'm working on something in there, how often does that save automatically? My understanding is that things get saved in real-time but I got an e-mail about someone losing some of their work when their computer crashed.
Also, if there is a set time, is there a way for me to modify it so that it saves more frequent?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Yassen,

Auto-save is configured to save every 10 minutes within the Web Client. Unfortunately, there are is no option to customize this within the web client. If you are working with the Desktop applications, you can customize these settings under File > Options > General

Hi Terry,

Thanks a lot for the reply. If ~15 people set this timer to save every 1 minute, will we see a decrease in performance?

Thanks!

To add to that, there's a note that says that 'maps that are checked out are not saved automatically'
How can I check which maps are checked and not checked out?
Thanks again!

Hi Yassen,

I would imagine that with many people in the map at the same time, this could impact performance. If you are working on maps by yourself, this shouldn't have any impact.

As for determining if a file is checked out, you can view this information from the Library tab within the Mindjet Web Client under the Status field and will also display a lock symbol. If a file is checked-out only the owner/admin or the person that checked the file out can cancel the check-out.
