Automated map classification and display

"I suggest a new, data base oriented approach, instead of our manually created shortcut collections and folder shortcuts. MM would use file properties (and their whole customizable attributes) to automatically classify maps. Additionally: main topics and also attribute synonyms would complete the selection and classification mechanism. A map could be found in many classes, when it fits their properties. Of course, MM would offer an interface for sorting and filtering.

1. Always a complete overview and access to all existing maps, no dead shortcuts anymore!
2. Because all metadata (author, keywords etc.) is saved in the file info, we would never lose our classes.
3. Files would can exist in many categories, but we wouldn't need to create many shortcuts to get this.
4. All file properties would be automatically used to offer us categories, instead to just have a few inflexible folder"
