Automatic Updates to Links Between Maps

Does anyone have a suggestion if there is a way to automate updates between linked maps? I seem to recall in there was an add in for previous mindjet versions where topics from a sub linked map could be shown and update on a parent map. With MM12 I can't find this. Thanks!

I think this is the add-in :

but ... i had an issue, if you use the "roll up task info" for a parent topic.
i reported the issue to mind2chart a while back:

"I downloaded a trial of the linker, and it works great, i had suggested it on a Mindjet user forum blog, It is a big gap, in the capabilities. It is perfect for setting up a master dashboard. i had a couple of problems. i am using mindjet 2012 and if you use the "roll up task info to here" under task management, i get a deadly crash looping around X Runtime Error! Program: C..... R6025 -pure virtual function call and that happens immediately i open that map again.... that roll up task info is used by a lot of people who use Mindjet to run Projects"

something had changed in MM 2012 that introduced the issue. They were trying to reproduce it. they have not fixed that yet.
I believe it works OK if you dont use that "rollup task info" feature. you can download a trial at that URL.
(I would try it on a test map first just in case it corrupts)
the add-in is great if you want to have an auto updated master map/dashboard...

Actually you may be looking for Maplinker. This was a free Mindjet add-in that I can't find anymore.

It did exactly what you need to have a dashboard that shows on the top-level, the latest info from many linked maps.

Maybe someone (Michael) at Mindjet can retrieve it????
