In which folder does Mindmanager keep personal settings like Options, the Shortcutlist with Collections, Personal dictionary en the personalised Quick Acces Toolbar.
Each time I reinstall or repair MindManager 2012 (Windows) I have to make those settings all over again.
The greatest problem is to rearrange 160 maps in about 7 Collections.

Hello Peter

These settings are stored in the system registry, and not on disk. One possibility would be to create a partial export of the registry key

and then import this exported .reg file again after reinstalling or updating. However, this would overwrite any changes made by the repair or reinstall, and if there are any differences in the registry keys expected by MindManager and restored from the registry script, then this could cause problems. Generally speaking, modifying sections of the registry is not recommended.

I have an unofficial (non-Mindjet) macro for backing up and restoring map shortcut collections for MindManager for Windows, which you are welcome to try. As I cannot upload attachments here, send me a message through and I can send a copy.
