Boundary on some of the sub-topics

This is a question that returns every 3 or 4 years. There is One solution.

You need to use an -empty- subtopic as the topic with the boundary. Play around with the formatting of the boundary, the content and the topic layout

This approach works best visually when you involve all sub-topics in multiple boundary sets as in the example below, but can look a bit messy if there is a mix of single and grouped topics. If you want to show them all at the same level you can set a boundary around the individual topics but format the boundary so it’s invisible.
