I'm using MindJet Manager 2018. Is it possible to publish a portion of a map to different individuals? I have a map, but certain individuals should only see the branch pertaining to them. Can I publish the different branches independently? Or is it possible to publish the whole map and only grant rights to individuals for certain branches?

There's currently no granular way to set permissions on a map, there are options to password protect the map to open and another password protection to be able to edit the map.

Would it be possible to split up your map in linked submaps and maybe have a full map overview of those submaps using the Map Roll-up feature in MindManager 2018?

Hi Adam,

There is no way to publish individual branches from the publish flow. To do this you would need to right click the parent topic of branch you want to share separately and select "Send topic to.." then "New linked map" from the context menu. Once you have the branch in a new map you can just publish that map on it's own.

Another option instead of sending branches to new linked maps or splitting the map into sub maps with a dashboard roll-up map to provide an overview would be to do the reverse - maintain the original map but create separate dashboard roll-up maps containing only the relevant branches for each person and publish these maps with passwords.

This approach has the advantage that it leaves the original map intact while dashboard maps can be created, published, updated and distributed to individual users on the fly .
