Can you recover a map after Mindjet Mobile overwrites the version on your computer?

I was drafting my first mind map in over a year. I had given up on mindjet because I had some sync problems. In the very first map that I made Mindjet mobile overwrote the map that I created, leaving a blank map instead with just a central topic. Because I opened up the app trying to see if a task sync'd. Now all of my work is gone. Do I quit MJ for good?

It depends, James. How did you store and sync the files between Mindjet mobile and your computer?

Olle, you would need some mechanism to share your map between your iPhone and PC. For example to share your map via e-mail:
  1. In the iOS app in the Local Files scree,n click on Edit on the top right of the screen
  2. Click on the blue I-icon next to the map that you want to share
  3. In the Edit File screen, choose 'Email file'
  4. This will send your map using the iOS Mail app as an attachment
Other options could be to add Mindjet Files (Corel's own cloud service), Dropbox or Box as a Storage Service. See: http://onlinehelp.mindjet.com/help/MJiOS/EN/Documents/aboutcloudstorageser.htm
