Hi Magnus

Good to see you here.

As far as MindManager on the PC is concerned either of those work. If you install their respective applications on your PC or Mac the folders and files will behave just like all the other files on your PC.

Mindjet Web can access your Box, Dropbox, One Drive and Google Drive accounts when ever your are connected to the internet. When you are using it on your PC you will be to access your iCloud account via File Explorer in Windows and the similar apps on the Mac.

The Mindjet iOS mobile app can access Dropbox, Box and Mindjet Files according to the help files. (But mine is doing nothing at the moment on my iPhone)

You can only co-edit, check in and check out files in MIndjet Files. The Cloud services may allow you to checkin/out but not co-edit.

I was looking forward to using my iPad and dropbox. I was very disappointed to learn the hard way that It was not what I expected.  Attachment do not work on iPad or Android, Web links and notes are also not viable. I understand links to MY files on my desktop would not work which is why I use attachments.  I thought the attachments we inside the mmap and expected them and notes to be usable.

the existing iPad app is a little better than nothing, but I do not understand how enterprises can exploit the power of Mindjet on other than the desktop/laptop platforms.

My complaint (for many years) is not even acknowledged by Mindjet.  I will not even start on the inability to publish maps to MY page.

The safe process I follow is to copy my maps from my hard drive to my dropbox and they are at least viewable from almost anyplace. I do NOT update in Dropbox as I have had previous issues. Copy works fine with the limits described above.
