I have a "dashboard" map which has my major projects. Each of those projects is linked to a "linked map", which was done using the Send To: Linked Map feature.

Within each of those linked maps are multiple projects, which I would like to create Linked Maps with.

But, I am afraid to break something if I create a Linked Map from within a map that is already Linked to a parent Map.

It won't break. Linked maps can have many parents, brothers and children without a problem.

I have the great great great great great grandmother of a map which links to 800 plus maps the last time I let the Linked Maps view show all levels. One day when I am not worried if my PC will explode I might combine all as a test!

Thank you so much Andrew! Before I learned about Linked Maps, I had a situation where my map was too large, with too many Topics, and it created many issues for me. Then MM support cued me in to what the problem was. I was able to use Linked Maps to greatly improve the issue, but in the process, because issues already existed, I ended up with some "broken" topics and functions.

Things are going well now, but I noticed that two of my Linked Maps are getting very large, and I want to avoid trouble.

You have given me "peace of mind!" Thanks again!

PS With 800+ Linked Maps, I think that qualifies you as King of Linked Maps!
