Cannot create new Mindjet Tasks by sending to new@mindjetconnect.com

I've tried from 2 different email addresses. An email failure notice is returned but no tasks are created.

Do you receive e-mail notifications from Mindjet Tasks? Maybe you could figure our which domain is being used to send out these e-mails?

Hm, I did some tests and it looks like new@mindjetconnect.com is not available and this is even mentioned as the address to send new tasks to....

Matthieu, in parallel  I sent some tweets to Mindjet on this that I think there should be a ticket now linked to this user account. I'm still not quite clear on the status as at one point it was suggested that the issue was fixed but in re-testing the emails were still not creating tasks.

Folks, if you use this email-to-task functionality provided by Mindjet Tasks please could you test this and post in this thread - thanks.

In a similar way, we used to be able to reply to emails from tasks which then were recorded in the task. This function is no longer working and instead the emails bounce back with an error message.

Just received this to my ticket . Disappointingly it is very non-commital about being fixed soon :-(

I'm afraid the e-mail to task feature is currently unavailable.
We are currently working to bring it back, however I don't have a timeline on this, unfortunately.

To those of you who have experienced this issue, I wanted to let you know that it was resolved today.

This issue originated from a mail relay service that stopped working and could not be restored. We had to rewrite the logic that took emails and added them as tasks. If you are still experiencing this issue please let me know.

Hi Mark, I believe this is still a problem. I have just recieved a mindjet task email update which when replied to used to add the comment to that specific task (saved accessing individual tasks all of the time). I have just replied to the task through my email client and it has created another task not related to the original? Is the reply function no longer working now the new task function has been rewritten?

I  am have failure with the email forward to task also on the new release.  Is it working is it not.  Looks like bad Christmas lights here for this function.

I got it send the task.  It just took the about 6 hours to get it there.
