Related or not I cannot accurately say, after installing the MindManager for Windows 15.1 Service Pack Release (latest build 15.1.173), 3 issues manifested afterwards:

1.) I cannot drag and drop files from Windows Explorer into a map

2.) At the same time the MM addon to IE 11.0 has quit working as well at the same time.

3.) The addin to Outlook 2013 has quit working as well. I've attached the error message below as it is the only bug that produces an error message. I have checked and the addin in Outlooks is enabled and I have enabled/disabled several times in my own troubleshooting efforts.

I installed the new version, rebooted and the problems started from there. I repaired the program and the 2 problems persist.

Prior to the update I could do all of these things. Thinking about going back a version to get this key functionality back. Anyone else experiencing any of these and found a solution?

Hi Walter

I can do 1, 2 & 3 with 15.1.173 on Windows 8.1 64bit with MS Office and MindManager 32bit.
I can't drag links from a web page on to the map from Internet Explorer but it works from Chrome. Suspect this is an Internet Explorer setting. See: Dragging and dropping hyperlinks from Internet Explorer is not working

Are you using 32bit MindManager with 32 bit Office? Or 64 with 64?

Try closing all MS Office apps and Internet Explorer, if you didn't do this previously. Then run MindManager Repair from Control Panel > Programs & Features

Thanks for your suggestions Andrew. Ultimately, the only thing that worked was removing the "Run As Administrator" mode from MM startup. Crazy, I know.

I having a similar problem when I upgraded to MM 15:  I'm using Win7 Pro.  When I try to drag a file from my desktop (or other open folder) directly into a folder being handled by the Map, this action is prevented.  However, I can copy-paste the file and this method works fine.  It's just an inconvenience.  Any assistance on this point would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Greg
