cannot connect to cloud from mindmanager 14 - the parameter is incorrect

I have had difficulties getting MindManager 14.1.190 installed on my machine.  I've had to uninstall it twice now, because it tells me that windows has to close it. I re-install, and the problem seems to go away for a day or so.

Throughout all of this, I can't connect to the Cloud via MM 14 even though I can connect to through the web app. It tells me, "the parameter is incorrect". Receiving that kind of message is very frustrating because I don't know what to do to investigate further. I haven't had these problems before I upgraded to 14.1.190.

This appears to be a result of a faulty installation over the previous build.

Please contact our Support Team by submitting a case  and we will walk you through the process of completely uninstalling / re-installing the software.
