I cannot sign-up. The screen just never gets passed the enter your details screen. I'm assuming this might be because I already have a cohuman account in the same email.. but I'd like to try connect too.

Have you tried using the same log in and password for Connect Vision that you use for your Cohuman account? If that does not work, please let me know. Thank you!

Hi R,

If you already have a Connect Action (aka Cohuman) account and are trying to get a Connect Vision account can you try the following...

go to mindjet.com and create a Mindjet Profile. You can use the same e-mail and password that you have for Connect Action. Once you do that then go directly to connect.mindjet.com and log in. This should provision your account automatically.

Let us know what happens.

Can you tell me what is happening when you try to log in to Mindjet Connect? I need to better understand your workflow so that I can best assist you. Thank you.

Hi EM, Can you try the same set of steps that I outlined for R in the comment above?

I can sign into Mindjet connect on the internet but it says I have no files or folders, all the icons are grey. When I try and sign in through Mindmanager it says I have no account. If I try and set up an account it tells me I have one and sends me to my Cohuman account.

Humphrey - Similar questions as I asked Simon below.

Were you invited to participate in a colleagues' Connect account or did you sign up for your own account and then experience these problems?

If the latter, can you go to connect.mindjet.com and try to log in and let us know what happens?

Assuming that works, can you then try logging in via MM12 with the same credentials?

Our of curiosity did you ever have files/folders in Connect?

Thanks for trying again.

I have signed in but still all the icons are ghost images. One of my colleagues has shared a map with me so his folder and this file are visible and I can open it, however, all the icons are still ghost images. When I signed in this time a message came up saying I was not the account owner? I don't think I was invited originally and I have two accounts now so I am not sure if I ever had any files in this one. So no change, in both connect and MM12.

so, it sounds like you are not necessarily having a problem with signing up for your own Connect account. In fact you can log in to Connect both from the web and MM12 and are able to at least see and access content in at least one of the accounts you've been invited to. As you noted, from what I can see, it looks like you've been invited to 2 accounts as a guest in both.

Can you ask your colleagues if they gave you edit rights to their files/maps?

Can you ask your colleagues if they have/can make you a Member (vs. guest) in their account(s)?

Are these ghost icons in the web version or in MM12?

Would you be open to setting up a time when we can talk live and I can set up a way for you to share your screen so I can see what you see?

Brittney, I have the same problem with my account under my gmail email address. It returns a pop-up error if I try and connect through MM12 and goes to a blank screen (with the right URL I believe) and won't respond if I go through the internet. Strangely my Connect Action Co-Human account logged in just fine with the same details.

I did everything to confirm the problem was not my end and then found a post on this forum which informed me it was a problem with a database at your end and I should try a new account under a new email address. This I have done and it works fine. However, I don't want to use this email address (it is an old school account) and now can't change the settings to make my gmail address the linked email.

I'd be happy to delete my account and start again if it would work but I can't do that either. Can you help?

Thanks for coming back to me Scott, I appreciate it. I signed up for my own account with my gmail address. I've done as you asked and the following occured:

I went to connect.mindject.com to log in first and the same thing happened. It appeared to be successful but I went to a completely blank grey screen at this URL and could not refresh it etc. https://connect.mindjet.com/;jsession...

Then I tried logging in via MM12 and it worked fine and instantly. Finally I went back online and tires again and it worked perfectly; taking me through the intro screens and terms and conditions etc.

Hope the detail helps and let me know if you need more. My problem is fixed and I'm a happy customer, thank you!

It seems that I'm experiencing the same problem as Humphrey Bunyan, but in my case I'm facing a empty grey area after signing in with my Mindjet ID through the web (couldn't login with my Cohuman credentials). I'm not using MindManager.

It seems to be working now. My password was less than 8 characters, so I changed it to a longer password and now I can log in. But the "Change password" page didn't warn me when I tried to set a password with less than 8 characters. That should maby be changed so that the user recives a warning when they choose a password that is to short.

Daniel - yes when we last updated our website we accidentally removed the password strength verification logic which allowed users like you to sign up with a password that our product didn't accept. As you noted we have fixed it and so my hope is that you are now able to successfully log in and use Connect Vision.

If you are still having problems please let us know

All, I've tried to outline specific steps for each of you based on what you've posted. Please try these out and let me know what happens.

For R & EM I asked you to create a Mindjet Profile...here is an image of where on the home page you can access that capability.
