Check for updates, Register in Help ribbon menu are not working

When I click the buttons like "check for updates", "register" in  Help ribbon menu, mindjet v11 opens notepad instead of web browser.

How can I fix it?

My mindjet's version is : 11.3.305

First of all, there's no update available :) See http://www.mindjet.com/support/product-resources/channel-download-library/#mm11 for the latest downloads.

It looks like Notepad is registered to handle the type of calls Mindjet is making when you press the "check for updates" and the "register" button, but I'm not 100% sure about this. 

Could you try to repair the installation of your web browser, if that's possible?
