"You can use apps like Dropbox today to share maps with other devices. We're also planning to integrate Mindjet for Android with Mindjet Connect so you can store and update your maps in the cloud. What other capabilities would you need? Can you elaborate on this request?

Thanks,
Michael" [from MichaelDeutch]

"I use TS pro as a mindmapper, it was what I went with when ThoughtManager/Splash Notes was left on the vine when it came to an Android port. What sealed if for me was the Cloudify option. The ability and the sense of security of having my mind maps that have a large investment of my time 'backed up' was a huge plus.
Thoughtmanager had a desktop counterpart and when the Palm was synced I knew my info was always going to be avail (should fone get lost/broken)
Since smartphones went away from the sync mindset to keep data safe and just relied on back up, the cloud option of TS Pro sold me. It was truly the 1st app I purchased.
So, what I am looking for in an app is the ability to mind map a disparate collection of info How I WANT and have that info available to me/safe (on desktop or another phone should the original get lost/broken) with out my intervention.
ya know, much like TS Pro with it's cloudify functionality.

and when Mindjet free goes Mindjet pro and we have to buy it again or get no credit for our preivous TS Pro purchase, that will suck and Karma will hopefully equal things in time.

"You say ""You can use apps like Dropbox today to share maps with other devices"", but can you explain how to do this? I try to open a .mmap file from within Dropbox and it says ""Your device does not have an app to view this file type""." [from Gihan Perera]

I agree with Gihan. An mmap file in Dropbox won't open in Mindjet on the Android. [from Andrew Steele]
