Complex Power Filter - possible?

I am trying to do some major filtering on my map. In particular, I have an existing map index that has over 500 topics in it, and a certain number of them have notes. I have made a significant number of chnages to the Map Index category content as well as order of the topics, and I essentially need to transfer the notes from the old topic to the equivalent new topic.

So, I was thinking that I could create a topic called "old" and one called "new" under the "Index and Glossary" topic I already have. I placed the latest index tree under the "new" node.

Now, here is where I am trying to get the Power Filter to do it's thing. I essentially want to filter out any topics that are under the "old" index that DON'T have notes, and still leave all the topics under the "new" index topic.

I figured that would make the least amount of work to drag and drop the topics notes from the old to new topics. Any thoughts on how I might accomplish this? Or - if you have a better idea I am open to that as well :)

You can drag and drop topic notes between maps. So you could temporarily export the "New" tree to a separate map and use a tiled view to see them both. The "old" map can then be filtered to show topics with notes, and the notes dragged to their peer topics in the new map, which can then be reimported.

Make backups of your maps before doing any of this :)
