Connect - the blank gray screen

When I log in to mindjet connect, I am directed to a blank gray screen. Nothing else ever happens. Not an exciting upgrade from Catalyst.

I would recommend trying to use a different browser or clearing your cache. If the problem persists, please let me know. Thank you.

I am getting the same grey screen. Tried Chrome and Firefox. Both show the following error:

"NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error - https://connect.mindjet.com/api/prefe..."

I'm still stuck with this problem. I changed my password again and tried different browsers, to no avail. Does it have something to do with the fact that I am using a MacBook? It's too frustrating specially that I'm following some interesting webinars about different aspects of MindJet Connect and would have liked to build maps and experiment the product...We have a Question/Answer session tomorrow and I will see what they think about this problem.

Hi Brittney - I am having the same issues with accessing Vision. I posted the problem elsewhere and then came across this thread. Please let us know the status when an update is available. Thanks for your efforts to resolve this.

I just signed up, and I have the same issue with both Chrome and Firefox. Yes, I tried all the usual crap, cleared caches, ran ccleaner, rebooted, etc. You just have a bad product.

Freeman, out of curiosity, when you signed up, did you complete the profile page that was presented within the application? This would have come after you completed the Sign Up form on our website? If so, did you also then download and use our Desktop product as well?

Given that your experience (and one other person) is more recent relative to the other posts, I'm thinking your issue might have a different root cause as I believe we fixed the original problem. Let us know when you can and thanks in advance for any additional info you can share.

I'm having this same issue...

After signing-up and using Action for managing my current projects, I'm eager to start using Vision to manage future projects and workstreams. I'm guessing the same issue it tied to my inability to synch my mobile account as well????

(Feels like a logistical issue around merging and synching database between the two clients?)

Please update me ASAP.. I'm pushing hard to get buy-in on this tool!!!!

Hi everyone,

First let me apologize for the frustration. I too experience the grey screen from time to time in both Firefox and Chrome. This is a bug that we are actively working on and hope to have it fixed very soon.

In the meantime, I find that simply refreshing my browser fixes the problem. Again sorry for the hassle. Please keep the feedback coming and let us know if this problem persists.

Wow, it works today, even without refreshing the browser! I tried to connect to Mindjet Connect Vision with Firefox, Safari and Chrome and they all work.
This is great news and I'm impatient to use and test it quickly.

Tried to access connect vision (free) on my laptop.
Got to list of files. Tried to open. Flash never loads. Left with header and blank grey screen.
Was using chrome. Flash plugin was working correctly. On refresh it takes me back to file list and says I don't have access to the files. Deleted cache and restarted browser. Restarted computer. Still not working.

Tried Firefox and IE neither worked.
Tried different laptop, worked fine.

Any ideas what is going on?

I am getting the blank grey screen with FF after logging in. Then I close the browser, reopen, and I get wrong userid/password combination -- so I have to click to reset my password -- just to get another blank screen.

In safari(OSX 10.8.1), after login, getting the grey screen also....

The below are errors in error console..

I would recommend trying to use either Firefox or Chrome to see if that alleviates that issue that you are experiencing.
