Crash on startup

I get a crash whenever I startup this prorgam (Mindjet mindmanager 2016). It tries to "find solution online" and then just closes. I've spent about an hour researching and I'm ready to give up. It's a shame, I would have gladly paid for this product if it got to even 80% of what it "says" it can do. Here's what I've done so far to troubleshoot:

- Run program in compatibility mode (7, 8 and vista)
- Restarted (several)
- Uninstall, reinstall (with and without restart)
- Installed .Net 3.5 (and 2.0), just in case

It does log an event to the application log, but that doesn't give much info but I'll put it at the end, just in case you want to read it.

Fixed. Put my Surface into airplane mode and started. That's slightly frustrating. You've known about the issue for over a year (saw article that tipped me off, https://community.mindjet.com/mindjet...)

Because the issue extended across versions, when I google search it, NOTHING COMES UP AS A RESULT! If I change my version to mindmanager V15 when google searching, it comes up.

How to avoid this issue in the future: Either fix it, or put it on your FAQ for the program that first time startup may require you to go into airplane mode if your machine is exceptionally fast.

Thanks Cassandra, I had the same issue and it was resolved by starting mindmanager once in "airplane" mode.

Hello All,

We found out that Adobe Flash update has caused this issue after the security update  installed on Windows 10,
see more detail information in the article posted below:

http://www.infoworld.com/article/3018915/microsoft-windows/win10-flash-patch-kb-3132372-breaks-skype...

This update affected ~15% of all applications that rely on Adobe Flash so its not an issue caused by MindManager.

To resolve the issue for MindManager follow the steps below:

1.Go to Control Panel>Programs>Programs and Features
2.Click on View Installed Updates.
3.Then delete the update which references KB3132372
4. Restart MindManager.
