Create hyperlink in topic note inside macro

OK, so here is another weird one folks. I have found some really old MM7 developer documentation but some key concepts seem to be missing.

I am using a macro to try and create a list of about 140 topics within my map that are of interest (out of 3000 or so that exist). I have programmatic access to the topics I am interested in. So far, so good.

What I am trying to is this: I am trying to capture the relevant detail from each topic of interest in order to create a list of hyperlinks that will populate a new summary topic's note.

What I do before running the macro is filter the map according to the criteria of interest. What I am trying to accomplish by the end of the macro execution is the addition of a single new topic whose note contains a hyperlink to every other topic of interest in the filtered map. It would essentially be a Index of sorts.

So, I have already figured out how to filter the map. I have also gotten the macro to create a new "summary" topic, with a note filled with dummy static text.

Where I seem to be stuck is in two places:

First, what properties of each topic of interest do I need to capture in order to (later) create a hyperlink that contains the text/title of the topic, as well as it's address within the map?

Secondly, once I gather together the text above, then I need to create hyperlinks using that data inside the summary topic note. So, if there are 140 topics of interest, there will be 140 hyperlinks inside the new summary topic.

Make sense? Clear as mud?

I realize that it is a little confusing, but this is something that I need to do periodically and having this macro work would make my like a whole lot easier. Any partial responses are also appreciated!
