I would like to create a flowchart in Mindmanager 8 to show, graphically, the 5 or 6 steps in a work process. Any suggestions to get me started? Thanks.

You can set up a simple flow chart either as a right-facing map, split tree or org chart.

However MM provides only limited options relating to the spacing of sub-topics, topic shapes and to show conditional looping. To do the latter you will have to add relationship lines and try to match their formatting to the topic lines.

In summary you can do it, but setting it up the way you want it could be very time-consuming. Unless the chart is very straight-forward (for example, a simple decision-tree), you may be better off using a more appropriate drawing product or even the SmartArt feature in MS Word, if you have that.

iMindmap seems to have jumped in here with their V6 as they now have a flowchart function - very useful to have particularly for process planning
