Custom templates not available in New Map dialog

I have a folder with all my custom items in it including a folder of templates in sub-folders. The parent folder is a Package Folder.  My custom map markers, images & map markers  appear in their respective Task Pane tabs.  I can see my custom Themes and Templates in the Template Organiser dialogues but I can't see them when I start a new map or add theme unless I open the Template Organiser. How do I get the Themes and Templates in to the initial dialog panes?

Hmm, it looks like the Templates Home screen is fixed to MindManager's template folder in MindManager's default package folder.

Adding a folder in the default folder for templates will make it show up in the Templates Home screen, so I tried to replicate this behavior using Symbolic Links without actually moving any files (see http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/).

Let's say my custom templates are located at 'c:\mytemplates' and MindManager's default template folder is 'C:\Users\mathieuvanderwal\AppData\Local\Mindjet\MindManager\15\Library\ENU\Templates\Local Templates'.
I would then create a Symbolic Link inside MindManager's default templates folder which links to the folder location of my custom templates, so it will show up like a folder in MindManager's default templates folder.
Using the command 'mklink /J "C:\Users\mathieuvanderwal\AppData\Local\Mindjet\MindManager\15\Library\ENU\Templates\Local Templates\mytemplates" "c:\mytemplates"' will then create this 'virtual folder' in MindManager's default template location and make it show up in the Templates Homes screen.

I hope this makes sense :)

That's a nice hack Mathieu.  I will give it a go.
