Customizable topic context menu

Would you use a customizable context menu?

The current menu has a lot of options but maybe not the ones you'd like. What if you could control it like you can customize the quick access toolbar and the ribbon?

Here's an example of someone looking for the split topic feature (which was removed due to low usage).

Vote if you agree this would be useful.

Hi Michael,

I think this would be a good idea. Whatever can be implemented to allow easy user configuration of MindManager can only be a good thing provided it is done in a way that is easy for the user to grasp and implement.

Thanks Nigel. We were discussing the possibility of using the same dialog that is offered for customizing the ribbon and quick access toolbar.

I would prefer more (and customisable) keyboard shortcuts instead of a customisable context menu, as I wont be using those menus.

I am a -mouser- So I like the idea of customizable context menu's alot

As I like the quick access bar it saves a lot of time. However, the fit map function is in the last release only available at the bottom right of the screen, so impossible to add to quick access bar. Too bad.

While I would support both a customisable context menu and customisable keyboard shortcuts, I would be happy if in the first instance Mindjet simply replaced the items such as the split topic command which it has just removed from the topic context menu in the latest "upgrade" (see this thread).

I think that the context menus in the previous 14.1x version had the right balance of useful shortcuts versus menu complexity. They would also provide a good default set from which customised context menus could be built.
