Dashboard with always actual Powerfilter for red stop

I create a dashboard with the light blue task from the map, because I want to know whats done and whats to do. Maybe I have 20 different maps then its a fine solution.

If I have problems I have a kanban "in Arbeit/gestoppt" with a smart rule for red stop.

In a map I could search such red stops by the powerfilter in every map. But I don't want to do it for every map again and again...

Is it possible to make a "always on" powerfilter where I could always see the red stops in a map ?
So I could roll up and see the problems in the dashboard ?

Hope it's clear what I mean ?

Thanks for your hints

Hello Jörg. With the SmartRule for setting the red colour on "in Arbeit/gestopped" tasks, could you also add an effect that writes a value to a topic property? Then you could count these topic properties with a formula to get the total number. Or are you already doing this?

Hi Nick, by your hint I could count the "in Arbeit/gestoppt" but thats what I do in the moment.
The "in Arbeit/gestoppt" are the problems on each doings in some maps, if I could see them directly in the dashboard ...wonderful for discuss the problems directly from the dashboard.

In the moment I could say yes there are xy "in Arbeit/gestoppt" but the next question is which points? and then I must open the maps and search this point by power filter. That goes but it's not a good way.

Maybe I remember them... but easier when I see them directly in the dashboard....

Yes, it is not so easy to find matching topics in a map without using a filter. You can name and save filters to make them a bit easier to use, but filtering is not so good with large maps or deep trees, as the topics can still be out of view. There are some other possibilities:
  • Use the Map Index to see topics with the Red colour. You can also give this colour a name.
  • Instead of using a topic highlight colour, use an icon. These can also be seen grouped together in the Map Index.
  • Use the Tag View, with the Kanban tag group selected. This will show all the items by their Kanban column. But you may need to still use a filter if you only want to see task topics.
  • Use your SmartRule to also set a special Progress value (e.g. 10%) on specific tasks. Then you can easily see them together in the same column in the Icon view of Progress icons, together with the status of other tasks in your map. This would work if you are not using percent complete for project management of tasks.

As a variation on Nick's suggestions, you could use a special icon for "in Arbeit/gestoppt" with the icon view. This would work best if you set up a specific icon group just for this icon and used this group as the basis for the Icon view. You should end up with just two columns, Uncategorised and in Arbeit/gestoppt - you can hide the Uncategorised column to leave just the one you want.

You already seem in your example to have a special icon - I'm not sure if you have set up a SmartRule to apply this icon, but it's easy enough to do so.

Hi Nick,
Hi Alex,
thanks for your hints how I could help me in the moment.

Hi MINDMANAGER,
Hi COREL,
I think its a good idea to have the possibility always see the matching topics in a map without using a filter. If MM has this option its easier to create a dashboard.
