HI,
is it possible create a dependency (Eg: finish to start) between topics in two different maps?
I need the job in one project to be completed before I can start an activity in another project.

If the projects are related with dependancies, they are in fact sub projects of a larger project.
Best to create a map for the larger project and copy both subprojects inthere.
Now you can set the desired dependancy.

HI Ary, thanks for feedback, unfortunately this is a different case. They are two completely different projects, with all related material and different teams. But being both in the same company it happens that 1 task could influence more than a single project. Else I would have treated as you properly suggested as single project but is not possible for this specific cases. Any suggestion on how to create a dependancy between different map, still keeping them separated?

Well... it seems to be a matter of semantics.

Please try and think just a little bit outside the box and....

I don't see any problem when someone is the programme manager who is responsable for more projects uses this method.
In this overall map you get the info you need to help alert the project managers of single projects.
Just as you describe the goal of your question.

The more complicated and limited solutions have been answered earlier, just as the way to useĀ  map roll-up to get the status synced at a higher level.
