Diagrams, Gantt charts -- How about these for the Mac version?

It's been over three years since the last Mac version. The Windows version has almost three times as many features as the Mac version.

Are there any plans to provide an update? Please give us some sign that support and work on the Mac version is in progress. There are posts that are four years old (and older) in the Mac forums asking for feature parity, like Gantt charts.

I could really use the features in the Windows version, especially the diagramming, if they were available on the Mac.

Are there any plans for updating the Mac version?

We understand the frustration of Mac users.  Many of us are Mac users at Mindjet.  As longtime MindManager users know, Mindjet the company has been reorganized to provide clear focus on improving MindManager.  The first step was to provide a significantly improved Windows release, MindManager 2016, since our global base skews heavily toward Windows.  The next step is to dramatically improve the Mac.  You will see some announcements in the next quarter and more significant announcements later this year.

This was posted over a year ago and there is still no major update for Mac, or Gantt chart capability.  This has been an issue users have complained about for at least 5 years.  It looks to me like you have just abandoned the Mac platform, which is crazy given how visual and intuitive Macs are, and how visual and intuitive MindManager is. What is up with you folks?

I totally agree.  I'm a big Mindjet user and I started with the Windows version.  Now, I am a 100% Mac user, and I really miss the functionality that was in the Windows version.  Please help us!

licensed MM 10 for mac and really miss a view as Gantt Chart/timeline and an interface for MS-Office. As i read before i bought the license. Didn't realize its only available for Windows systems. Otherwise i could have chosen one of the free Mindmap-tools with a same range of functions. Found out the discussions about a Gantt extension for mac lasting for years. Don't misunderstand, MM is a nice tool - i also understood the focus on Windows systems. But a Mindmap style in running projects is a typical style of creative heads, you might underestimate the volume of mac users as clients. Cheers and best regards Piet

Hi, i found a workaround for combined sceduled planning and writing that fit me needs.
It might be an inspiriation for other users. (I'm not english, some words might be wrong, sorry).

Used software on OS X YOSEMITE:
- Mind Manager (mindmap/overview)
- Scrivener (writing scripts)
-AEON Timeline (sceduling and planning)

1. Create a mindmap in Mind Manager
2. export mindmap as opml-file
3. open a new document in scrivener
4. import the opml-file (notices from Mindmap will be placed in the document)
5. save the document and close Scrivener
6. open AEON Timeline and import the scrivener document.

Cheers Piet
