When using Mindjet Connect in Chrome the display zooms out to the point that you need a magnifying glass to read anything.  Swapping ti Internet explorer shows the display at my normal resolution. I am not aware of any settings that are specific to my use of Mindjet connect in Chrome. Originally it displayed properly and it is ony this year I have had this problem

Could you maybe try to clear the 'cookies and other site and plug-in data'? This normally fixes any issues I have with the online version of Mindjet

Sorry Mathieu - that did not work.
I performed the following:

Obliterate the following items from:  "the beginning of time"
  • Browsing history
  •  Download history
  •  Cookies and other site and plug-in data
 Left - Cached images and files
 Left - Passwords
  •  Autofill form data
  •  Hosted app data
Left - Content licences
===================================
Closed Chrome and re-opened it and went to Mindjet Connect.

When I try to sign in the screen fonts reduce to a size which is unusable.

OK, could there be any extenions of Google Chrome which might interfere with the Mindjet web application?

You could try to open the Mindjet web app in Ingonito Mode to see if that works (any extensions should be automatically disabled in Incognito Mode), more info here: http://googlesystem.blogspot.nl/2010/02/google-chrome-safe-mode.html
