I used to be able to drag and drop an image from a Finder window into my mindmap and have the image appear either in a bubble or attached to one, depending on where I drop it. Now if it adding the file name and a link to the image. How do I restore the setting I want?

I don't have a Mac. I looked at the MindManager Mac help file. It only mentions dragging from Finder to the Topic Notes not the Topic. Perhaps drag to the note and from there to the topic.

Perhaps using drag with shift or ctrl or another modifier key will produce the desired result.

Hmm, did you update to El Capitan recently?

I did some tests on El Capitan, and (using the two approaches of adding an image to a topic) they resulted in either the hyperlink with the filename being created (as you pointed out) or just the complete image not showing up in the map.

Approach one:

Approach two:
