Are you talking about dragging/copying from within email attachments or the attachments themselves?

If you want to send the whole attachment I'm assuming that you want it to become an attachment to a topic in MM. If so, the easiest option to do this within Outlook is just to send the whole email to MM using the MM button on the Outlook ribbon. This will retain the email as a topic - if you don't want it, drag the attachment(s) to another topic on the map and delete the email.

If you want to copy sections within an attachment, it depends if you are just previewing it within Outlook or if you have it open, as well as the type of file.

In preview mode I'm able to do this using copy and paste, but not drag and drop, from sections of a Word or Excel document. I can't do this at all from a PDF.

Once the document is opened however I can do both copy and paste and drag and drop to MM with a PDF document. In Word and Excel the document has to be both opened and enabled for editing.

Thank you - this was very helpful and works for me.

I think drag and drop for attachments directly would be a better way and I hope Mindjet can consider this for later versions.
