Effective representation of recurring tasks on the GANTT chart

I remember the joy of being able to create Recurring Tasks in MS Project as shown below. Then you could hide the individual meeting tasks by rolling up the Summary Task and the blocks for each meeting remained visible.

No such joy in MindManager.
  • No tool for creating recurring tasks
  • No way to rollup the Meeting Tasks (when you have manually created them) to declutter the  GANNT view.
Or have I missed something?

No, I think you are right.

You can manually create meetings either as tasks or milestones. You can optionally link them to projects either as part of the critical path or otherwise - and either way you can make them part of each project or give them their own group, as in your MS Project example.

However, while you can filter and hide these both in the map and the Gantt view it's an all or nothing thing, especially in the Gantt; you can't roll them up to a single line in any meaningful way.
