I'm receiving this error message whenever I try to search across my folders.

Hmm, not quite sure what could be causing this? Maybe some invalid folder reference?

Hi Mathieu, Thanks for your reply. It actually happens whenever I check "Include Subfolders". Like if I try to look in certain folder and checked the box of" include subfolders" this error message pops up. It happened all of a sudden, I even tried to re-install the program but this didn't work either.

OK, thank you for the extra information.
Does this happen on any folder? Could you try several different folders (e.g. My Documents, you Desktop and two others?).
MindManager will try to open the MindManager files it finds in the folders to be able to search through them, I think the error message is related to one of those files (maybe a filename with invalid characters?)

Yes I tried different folders, different files even different keywords in the search box but unfortunately to no avail.
