Excel Range to MM doesn't work right

I tried pulling an excel range from MM, but I get a message stating:
"Unable to import because the Synchronize with Mindjet MindManager add-in is unavailable in MS Excel"
I have verified that the add-in is enable. Restarting the apps or PC doesn't fix the issue.

I then tried exporting a range to MM from Excel, which works. However, I cannot update/refresh that range - nothing happens. I have tried saving the files, and restarting Excel and MM. Still nothing.

I have MM version 16.1.193 and MS Office 365.

Can anyone help me?

Just to be sure... is it possible to install a trial version of MM 2017 and test if this still doesn't work?

If the problem is solved in MM2017, I would suggest to upgrade.

Could you check if both Excel and MindManager are 32-bit or both are 64-bit? This might be related to different version of Excel and MindManager.
