Export Gantt grid as a table

While the Gantt facility in the latest version of MindManager offers a lot more features than its predecessor, it appears to have lost one.

There used to be an undocumented facility that allowed users to copy and export the Gantt grid as a simple table to Excel or Word. All you needed to do was select all the table and copy it. This does not seem possible in MM 2020, though presumably something like this is offered in Gantt Pro which comes in the enterprise version and which allows the export of Gantt reports.

While you can achieve much the same outcome by exporting the map itself to Excel, this was such a simple and easy-to-use feature. Is there any chance it could be reinstated?

Hi Alex,

Thanks for rasing this. I was not aware of this feature in the old Gantt Chart and am sorry to say there is no equivalent in the new one. I will speak to my team about adding this and will get back to you with an update.

Best,
-Marian

Thanks Marian.

i described the process that worked with recent versions of MindManager up until MM2019 here - https://sociamind.com/2015/11/04/exporting-a-simple-task-table-or-to-do-list-from-mindmanager/
 - with an addendum here - https://sociamind.com/2015/11/26/addendum-to-exporting-a-simple-task-or-to-do-list-from-mindmanager/
