This is one shortcoming of MindManager that would be easy to fix but which Mindjet continually fail to address. You have two options, both involving the purchase of additional software:
- Obtain the MAP for MindManager add-in from Olympic Limited. This has dozens of additional functions to improve MM's usefulness and useability, including a facility to export slides as images. I have reviewed an earlier version of MAP here, but in summary MAP does a good job though the resulting slides are not the highest resolution; or
- "Print" the slides from within MM using a third-party image printer to produce JPGs of each slide which can then be imported into PowerPoint using the latter's Photo Album facility. I describe the process here - it's a bit fiddly but results in slides with higher quality images (I use Image Printer Pro but there are other programs). It is also slightly easier this way to add a JPG of the Gantt chart should you want to do so.

Why to have features that really don't bring any value to the end user. Honestly I don't see a good use of these exporting options the way they are designed. Besides the core functionality of brainstorming ideas and task using the mind map methodology, I consider shareability as the second most useful feature to have. I recognize the PDF dynamic viewer option from mindjet but other than that I see a lot of room for improvement in the other options. I hope the mindjet leaders and developers can consider this feedback from customers for future updates. @avelina.acosta

I agree with your assessment. There is incidentally a third option which is to reformat the shapes that are generated in PowerPoint from the MindManager import. You may even be able to apply them in the template before the MM slide contents are imported, but this approach is a lot of work especially if all you are trying to do is to emulate what the MM slides looked like in the first place.

Export as outline using bullet points gives you a normal powerpoint presentation with just enough on each slide for your audience to understand, while you are giving a presentation.
We all know that if you have slides with too many objects they are too crowded anyway.
I may agree that there could be some extra flexibility in these export options, but that makes it an IDEA and certainly NOT A PROBLEM

Have you tried the Play Slideshow under views tab => presentations? It allows to interact with the audience, zoom in on details and notes etc. and change on the fly

Have you tried the Walk-Through mode under views tab => presentations?
It also allows to interact with your audience, zoom in on details, attachments and notes etc. and change on the fly.
I use it a lot in dynamic presentations.

PowerPoint has its faults and of course people tend towards the opposite pole of too much information turgidly presented, but used properly it's a great tool. It also has the features to create more interactive and flexible presentations but these are a bit fiddly to use so people mostly don't bother. And there are time when you just want to put up a handful of slides to present some simple points without too much fuss.
MindManager does have great potential to be used in presentations with features such as such as slides and walk-throughs. This is great if you are doing the presentation on your own equipment but is obviously a lot more difficult if you are not. While you can as Ary suggests export maps to PP to be converted into PP slides with dot points as well as using the rather ugly PP default shapes and slides, it still seems a curious shortcoming that you can't export MM slides as images to PP. Still there are the workarounds I suggested which aren't too onerous to use.
