Is it possible to export a Mindmap to a PDF that can be searched? I've tried running OCR, but the map is recognized as an image, so no text is found.

Thanks in advance!

From which Mindjet product are your trying to export as PDF? Is this from the Mindjet webbased solution, your desktop (Windows/Mac) or mobile?

My apologies! I'm using Mindjet MindManager 2016 from my Windows desktop.

No problem :) Did you try to use a PDF Printer (like the freely available CutePDF) to create the PDF as this will 'print' your map to a PDF format that can also be searched?

Ah! I hadn't thought of that - thank you!

Unfortunately, I seem to lose the functionality when I print to PDF (the topics can't be expanded; the notes we have on subtopics can't be opened, etc).

I appreciate your suggestions and help, though!

Hi, The new HTML5 export format is searchable using the browser's Find feature. Just make sure all the topics are open as it cannot find text in collapsed topics yet.
