I have tried everything but I can't get it fixed to export my map to Word / Pages. My Macbook runs OSX 10.8.2 and I use Mindjet 10. In Mindmager 9 I had the same problem.

I checked the help and the manual but there seems to be no solution.
Could it be that your Mac has to have certain features / settings?

We did follow up with support. I place the correspondence -me and my customer had- below for all of us to find solutions.

First reaction Mindjet:
This is a known issue which occurs with maps that include hyperlinks to local files and folder. It can also occur when a map contains attachements.
Please remove all these, save the map to a new file and export it again. In case this should also fail, please send me the map so I can attempt to repair it.

We send a file. File had no links or attachments.

Second reaction Mindjet
It seems you map contained multiple illegal XML characters which corrupted the file. This can occur when copying & pasting from PDFs directly into the map.
I've removed these characters and attached the map to this email. It should work fine now.

File gives reaction that it has an invalid structure. However it now makes a Pages file at least - that gives the invalid message.

Tried in MSWord => it works, but not for all my maps.

Found a cause... When I file a map in dropbox it is no longer possible to export. Even the map Mindjet repair looses the export function once it has been stored in dropbox. As long as the map stays on my macbook the problem does not arise.

This should be input for Mindjet developers.
