Export to Mindjet Viewer (PDF or SWF) does not fit to screen.

When export my mindmap to a PDF or SWF file (mindjet viewer), the image / map doesn't fit to screen anymore. Have of the map is outside the screen.
I have tried resizing the map multiple times, but it keeps on failing.
I Looked on you forum, but didn't find a solution.

Can anyone assist me?

thanks in advance,

Willem

Hi Willem. Thank you for your post. It would be helpful to know what version of the product you are using and on what platform.

Thank you for this information. Could you please send me a screenshot of what the document looks like when you export it? That would be great! Thank you.

aha, I found a workaround, but I would still like to see a fix for the problem:

When lowering the font size from 16 to 10, the problem was resolved.
I still find this very strange, as I would expect the resize to happen automatically.

You can resize the topic text, so the text will be in more than one line and your topicwidth decreases. Then the map will fit the screen.

When you open it in the viewer you can also resize the map by using the buttons at the botttom of your screen (fit map option, scale less than 100%)

Esther,

Thanks for the info, but I have considered the two options, and they don't work for me as I would like to present the mindmap to my customers.

Option 1 will make my presentation look bad
Option 2 doesn't help, as I will have to ask each customer to change the view when they open it. Seen the amount of customers (>1000) this is a huge overhead.

You can reduce the width of a topic by clicking and holding the vertical sides and dragging them. This will wrap the text without reducing the font size. Or, you can put the cursor in the topic text and press Shift+Enter to add a line break to topic text. Both of these will reduce the width of the map and use more vertical space.

You might be able to create a more presentable and accessible presentation of the map by using one of the web export templates:

These two will not display the notes but you may only require the topic images and text.
- Clickable Image Map
- Presentation
