Exporting map tasks to Mindjet-Connect task manager

I was able to consistently crash mindjet 11.0 by trying to export multiple tasks with dependencies to the online task manager. The export was successful when the dependencies were removed.

This might be related to the fact that dependencies are not yet supported in syncing tasks to Mindjet Tasks. I know Mindjet is working on this, so stay tuned!

Perhaps you should install Mindjet 11.1
I have created two tasks with a dependency and exported those tasks to Mindjet Tasks. Mindjet does not crash. Mindjet removes the dependency between the tasks.

Mathieu,

Do you know if they are also working on the Task Duration and Priority issue I flagged in this thread:

No, I didn't get the impression that they are working on syncing Task Duration

The progress is exported as well (both way sync).
The priority is taken in the calculation of the score list in Mindjet Tasks. So priority 1 will result in a higher score, but it is not visible in Mindjet Tasks as prio 1. See:

Task duration is not available, only the start and end date. In Mindjet Tasks there is a tab 'time' in which you can enter the estimated and actual time.
In this forum is another idea to sync this with the effort field in the desktop.

The comments/notes are not synced, but you can always open the hyperlink.

It's a nice way to plan the tasks in Mindjet maps and then export them to tasks. The real action is in tasks and you can still monitor the progress in the map.
Of course it still can be improved, and I hope that with the new licensemodel the updates will come more frequently!

I did update to the latest version but it still crashes when trying to export linked tasks. Hopefully MJ will implement dependencies soon -- in the mean time I will remove links before export.

The fact that you can't export dependencies from Mindjet windows app to Mindjet Tasks is real pain. You can create your project plan with hole dependencies between tasks in it and you can't assign them to anyone, unless you want to have unusable Gantt Chart.
So you have to decide: usable project management app with gantt chart OR company-wide task assignment system.
